1 large apple, peeled and cubed (any kind except delicious – Granny Smith works well)
1/3 c. pittes dates
1/4 c. raisins
1 pear, peeled and cubed
1/2(ish) tsp. cinnamon
1 to 1 1/4 c. water
combine all ingredients in a saucepan
bring to a boil
simmer,stirring occasionally
(don’t let the fruit get shmushy)
you can then refrigerate to serve cold
or
serve warm
yummy atop pancakes, waffles or ice cream!!!
