pitted dates or raisins
either: (depending on the sweetness you desire)
orange juice
any non-dairy milk
water
in a plastic container with lid:
place pitted dates or raisins,almost to the top of container
pour desired liquid to completely cover the fruit
place lid on container
let sit in refrigerator overnight
or at least a few hours.
when fruit has absorbed some/most of the liquid:
process fruit and all the liquid in blender until smooth.
add more liquid if you need it a little less ‘pastey’.
will keep in refrigerator a few days or
i freeze it in smaller containers for future use.
you will be surprised how sweet this can make any recipe.
no refined sugar, only loads of fiber and nutrients!!! yay!!!
