2-3 large organic onions, thinly sliced
a small swirl organic olive oil
1 lg. organic clove garlic, crushed or minced finely
1/4 c.(ish) any organic flour (I use spelt)
4 c. organic veggie broth
1/4 c.(ish) organic tamari (soy sauce)
any organic whole grain bread, cut into cubes and toasted
(optional)shredded SoySation Brand cheese (to top serving bowls)
in a soup pot:
heat the oil and saute:
the onions and garlic until just beginning to brown
stir in:
flour, and combine well
add and bring to a boil
the veggie broth
and
tamari sauce
cover and reduce heat to simmer
simmer approx. 15-25 minutes, until softened
when ready to serve:
ladle in bowls and top w/toasted bread chunks
I like to sprinkle a tiny bit of SoySation Shredded Cheese on top.
