incredible edibles…another easy cheezy krispy kale (or anything) sauce

1 and 3/4(ish)c.-2(ish)c. soaked, drained cashews
or
1 and 3/4(ish)c. soaked/drained cashews and 1/4(ish) c. soaked/drained sunflower seeds
1/4-1/3(ish) c. fresh squeezed lemon juice
1 lg. yellow or red bell pepper, cut in chunks
1/2-3/4c. nutritional yeast
1 sm. clove garlic
a few shakes smoked paprika
a few shakes chili powder
a few shakes dulce or kelp granules (in the Japanese section-Whole Foods)
a few shakes red pepper flakes
black peppercorns w/chipotle (Frontier brand-Whole Foods or Sprouts)
or any other seasoning you love
(optional-if needed) water

soak cashews (and/or sunflower seeds) in water to cover them approx. 15min.-1/2hr.
drain and add to food processor.
add rest of ingredients except the optional water.
process until smooth.
add water (if needed) to reach “gooey-stick to food” consistency.
yummy for baked kale chips, on baked potatoes, veggies…you name it!
