What would it take to make a “happy new you”?
The easiest way to “change” or “modify” any behavior is to go TOWARD something.
When you are excited to travel toward instead of away from an action, it becomes attainable with little to no effort.
The reason resolutions usually fade soon after vowed is because looking back at what we “had” or “did” or “practiced” becomes the main focus. “I used to be able to…….”, “I used to eat…….”, “I’m NOT going to do this or that…..”.
“Resolve requires willpower”.
Willpower never sticks.
We are all pleasure seekers. Our brains and whole body chemistry is made to seek pleasure and avoid pain or hard situations.
Making a New Years or any other “resolution” always involves willpower.
If you “change the channel” in your way of thinking to running TOWARD pleasure (change), you will be guaranteed to attain your goals.
This is a fail-safe plan.
Make this new year the best by turning toward your pleasure!
