1/3 c. (ish) of any/all of the following:
frozen:
pineapple
cherries
mango
wild blueberries (or “berry mixture” bag)
raspberries (or “berry mixture” bag)
1/4 c. (ish) cacao powder (or cocoa, whichever)
1/4 c. (ish) cacao nibs, unsweetened
a few tbs. hempseeds
pitted dates, to taste (if needed…i usually do)
2 (ish) c. almond milk (can use rice if you prefer)
very important to include:
1 frozen banana
a handful of pitted dates
now for the “hidden healthy” ingredient:
3 (ish) c. fresh kale (yes, kale…I promise you WILL NOT TASTE IT)
place all in a high powered blender, I put kale first and schmush down
blend until smooth (cocoa nibs will stay “chocolate chip-ish”)
drink now…
sip all morning…
or as I usually do:
put into ice cube trays for later (thaw until schmushy and stir before drinking)
SO SURPRISINGLY YUMMY!!!!!!
