The mind/body connection is real.
It is very powerful.
Here’s an example for you to think about.
There were two groups of people.
Blood sugar levels were taken of both groups.
One group was given a sugary cereal to eat.
The other group was told to IMAGINE eating a bowl of sugary cereal, given nothing to eat.
Blood was drawn on both groups again.
The group that ate the sugary cereal showed a rise in blood sugar levels.
The group that just imagined eating the sugary cereal showed the same rise in their blood sugar levels.
The lesson to take away from this study is to remember how powerful our words and thoughts are and how they directly affect out physical body and it’s functions.
