***note – basically the difference between traditional sorbet and sherbet is that sherbet usually contains some sort of milk or dairy product. of course because you are getting this recipe from me…it’s vegan and contains “mock” dairy***
2 pkgs. frozen organic strawberries
1 pkg. frozen organic blueberries
1/4 c. (ish) agave
juice of one organic lemon
1 1/2 – 2 c. vanilla rice milk ( i use rice dream brand)
place all ingredients in blender and blend until smooth.
place in plastic ware type container and freeze for approximately 1 hour.
remove from freezer and stir to remove crystalized ice and add “air” to the “shorbet”.
return to freezer and is ready to eat after about another 1-2 hours.
(of course, if you know me at all…you know that as soon as mixture is blended…it’s yummy just “as is” !!!
