Respect your body. “How in the world can I respect my body when I hate what I see”?
Respecting your body and loving all of its parts and how it looks are very different. By respecting your body, you treat it with dignity and care. You care how is functions. Does it get you from “here to there”? Even though you might mistreat it…it still performs for you, doesn’t it!
You don’t have to like the weight that you are right now. Practice finding things you like about your body even in the beginning the only thing you can recognize are your “inner” qualities. Your good heart, compassionate ways, your helpful soul are also part of your body. You are a whole “package”. Find the parts that you like and love those parts. The more time you spend more finding the “good stuff”, the more “good stuff” you will find!
