1 lg. onion (chopped)
3 cloves garlic or 2 (ish) tsp. organic chopped in jar
1 1/2-2 tbs. organic canola oil
1 – 15oz. can organic black, pinto or kidney beans (rinsed and drained)
1/2Â sm. can organic tomato paste
2 tbs. tamari (soy) sauce
1-2 tbs. agave (or any other sweetener you prefer)
1 tbs. coarse country dijon type mustard
1 tsp. organic red pepper flakes
1 tsp. organic cayenne
saute onion and garlic in canola oil until browned and tender.
in a med. sized bowl add:
the rest of the ingredients EXCEPT beans.
whisk to combine.
add:
beans
and:
sauted onion mixture.
pour all into a slightly canola oil greased casserole dish and bake covered approx. 30 min.
